My main research interest is strong gravity, which is an extremely diversified subject, embracing areas as diverse as astrophysics, gravitation and particle physics. I am interested in various questions related to these subjects and especially in problems at the interface between them.
My research is focused on black-hole and neutron-star physics, in particular tests of gravity, gravitational-wave astrophysics, and investigations of dark-matter candidates based on the dynamics of compact objects. I am also interested in the foundations of General Relativity. Link to the ERC DarkGRA project
Curriculum Vitae (last update on the pdf) My papers can be found in the following international journals: Physical Review Letters, Physical Review D, The Astrophysical Journal, Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, Journal of High Energy Physics, Classical and Quantum Gravity, Physics Letters B. An up-to-date list of my publications can be found on the INSPIRE, ADS and Google Scholar databases.
